West Tennessee Pond has begun monthly maintenance on our ponds, which will continue through October. The aerator for the pond at the new entrance has been ordered, and the electrician will begin running the electrical line in the next few weeks.  This one is the easiest, since the electrical source is already there with the mill.

The pond at Flagstone/Kinnewick is not such an easy fix. We need a meter for that electrical source, and the work will require a permit. The company is working through the requirements for that side, and hopefully it won't take too long.

We want everyone to enjoy the ponds, but please help us keep it clean.  Please don’t throw any kind of garbage into the pond or leave it on the edge of the pond.

There were recently children wading in the large pond on Flagstone (up to their waists and chests).  There’s no rule about  swimming or wading in the pond, but please remember that the water is being treated.  Any child who does enter the water should be monitored by an adult.

Also, please ask your children to refrain from throwing rocks into the small ponds by the mills. Both of them have liners, which are damaged when this happens. The one at the old entrance will have to be reworked.  These repairs cost all of us.
